Lightwater Scout Supporters are hosting a Race & Social Night at the HQ
To enable you to meet the team behind Scouting in Lightwater and hopefully raise some money for the ongoing running costs of the Building and Minibus at the same time!
The evening will start at 7:15pm and there will be 8 races (Finishing around 10pm)
Come along to this night at the races to socialise with other Lightwater Scouting Families, Leaders & Supporters (Over 18s only)
Chose a horse to bet on for each race and then watch the race on the big screen – if you are lucky enough to win – collect your winnings from the tote!
Bets are £1 each and we might have a few races where you can purchase a Dual Forecast bet (1st and 2nd place tickets)
Maybe you fancy yourself as a bit of a Racehorse Owner – Buy a horse for £3 for the night and if your horse wins you will receive the race prize money.
There will be a pay bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks and included in your entrance cost you will get a slice or two of pizza to keep your energy levels up for cheering on your horses!
On the night make sure you bring cash for the bar and betting (lots of £1 coins would be helpful!)
