Our Beavers (male and female) are aged between 6 and 8 years of age. Lightwater has two Beaver Colonies:
- Nemo (Tuesday)
- Borrowers (Thursday)

What we do
Lots of fun outdoor activities, creative activities, exploring the local community and the infamous Beaver Sleepover.
Recognising achievements
Badges are awarded for a whole variety of life skills and activities. The top award in this section is the Chief Scout Bronze Award and we’ve created our own log books for you to keep a record. Many of our Beavers achieve this, so why not give it a go?
Uniform
We wear the full Beaver uniform – a blue beaver sweatshirt, scarf, trousers and school shoes. The Scarf is provided to you when you become invested. We often wear the Lightwater maroon t-shirt under our sweatshirts, available to purchase from your leader.

Beaver Law
There is no formal Law. The concepts expressed in the Scout Law are presented through games, storytelling and other activities.
